Stacey: King Prawn with Marie Rose Sandwich on White
My crab was beautifully fresh, as were Staceys prawns. The bread was the star though. For a huge loaf that had been cut to make the slices the inner was so soft. The sandwiches were a delight.
|Surroundings||Well maintaned cafe look. Art on the walls. A busy little place.|
|Value||A little expensive.|
|Ambience||Good for a busy little cafe.|
|Staff||Not the best in the world. I ordered chips with the sandwiches and I saw the waiter write it down. When they didn’t appear with the order I went and asked for them. I was told that the chips weren’t on the copy which went to the kitchen, even though they could see it on their order… They should have apologised and brought us some free chips.|
